Sara Gowin, RN

Founder of Peace of Mind Mental Health Group, PLLC

Sara Casual

Sara Gowin (she/her) is a Registered Nurse and the Founder of Peace of Mind Mental Health Group, PLLC. She is currently completing her Master’s program to become a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

 

Sara is a Women’s Mental Health Specialist with extensive expertise in trauma-informed care. She has long served as an advocate for victim-survivors of sexual assault in Lancaster County, where her work has been rooted in compassion, empowerment, and advocacy. Her clinical experience spans inpatient, outpatient, crisis, and interventional psychiatry, equipping her with a comprehensive and collaborative perspective on mental health care. She is particularly committed to supporting LGBTQ individuals, ensuring that every patient receives affirming, inclusive care where they feel respected, supported, and understood.

Connor Swan, LCSW

Connor Swan (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy sessions for clients across Pennsylvania. She has supported individuals and families through life’s most challenging moments by de-escalating youth crises, counseling high school students, and collaborating with families referred to General Protective Services. She also has a strong background in guiding older adults and their loved ones through dementia-related challenges.

Connor’s expertise includes conflict resolution, talk therapy, and behavioral analysis, with a focus on meaningful and lasting change. Collaboration and relationship-building are central to her approach, helping clients feel supported, empowered, and understood.

Stacey Sockel, LSW

Stacey Sockel (she/her) is a Licensed Social Worker and therapist at Peace of Mind Mental Health Group, PLLC. With extensive experience in both hospice care and crisis intervention across Lancaster County, Stacey has supported individuals and families during some of their most vulnerable and meaningful moments. Her work has been defined by a commitment to compassion, resilience, and empowerment.

 

Stacey is passionate about delivering affirming, person-centered care that ensures every individual feels respected, supported, and valued in their mental health journey. In her leadership role, she collaborates closely with Certified Peer Support Specialists to integrate compassionate, holistic support into the broader care model at Peace of Mind.

Christy Hudak, LCSW

Christy Hudak (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist at Peace of Mind Mental Health Group, PLLC. Clients working with Christy can expect a calm, supportive space where they feel genuinely seen and understood. Her approach is collaborative and steady—rooted in evidence-based practice and guided by your goals. Christy moves at your pace, offering structure when needed and empowering you to build insight, confidence, and healthier patterns. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, OCD, or life’s transitions, Christy brings warmth, clarity, and a compassionate presence to every session.

With over 10 years of clinical experience, Christy has supported children, adolescents, adults, and families across community mental health, intensive in-home services, outpatient settings, and telehealth care. Her background includes trauma-focused work, behavioral interventions, family support, substance use treatment, and crisis stabilization. This breadth of experience allows her to adapt her approach to a wide range of needs—meeting each client exactly where they are and walking with them toward meaningful, lasting change.
