Lancaster County Chooses Love is a grassroots organization that is committed to advocating for LGBTQ+ individuals within the community by creating safe social spaces and connecting community members with local resources.
Lancaster County’s designated rape crisis center. SAPCC provides support, advocacy, and no-cost counseling for victim survivors and their non-offending individuals impacted by sexual abuse, harassment and assault. We also provide primary prevention education programs across the county. Staff members or trained volunteer advocates are available 24-hours a day through our sexual assault hotline. 717-392-7273
Our Build-a-Queer Kits are free, customized kits filled with life-changing gender-affirming items for trans and nonbinary individuals in the U.S. Our mission is dedicated to providing gender-affirming resources to empower queer and trans individuals nationwide, equipping them with the confidence and power to drive social change in their communities. We center on urgently delivering essential supplies and assistance to help combat dysphoria and promote dignified, safe, private, and empowered living.
The Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) is located on the Lancaster General Hospital Campus at 526 N Lime St in Lancaster. The CWIC offers immediate, easy-to-access behavioral health care for those with non-life-threatening concerns. We’re here to serve adults, adolescents, and children ages 6 and older across Lancaster County, regardless of the ability to pay. 717-544-7300
